Dr.Stoller named Clinical Instructor at Indian university Medical Center Department of Ophthalmology
Dr.Steven E.Stoller. a board-certified eye surgeon who practices in Winchester, was recently named a Clinical Instructor in Indiana University Medical Center’s Department of Ophthalmology.
In this part-time capacity, Dr.Stoller trains residents at Wishard Hospital. He oversees their surgical cases, helping the residents learn the finer points of eye surgery. This helps them prepare to begin their own practice or join existing practices.
Dr.Stoller notes, “As Clinical Instructor at I.U., I enable the residents to work through challenging cases with someone at their side who has ‘been there, done that’. It’s a natural fit for me since I love to teach, I formely directed one of the largest eye surgery practices in Indiana, and I’ve had the privilege of introducing modern eye surgery techniques to doctors, clinics and hospitals in China and Africa.”
Dr. Stoller practices general ophthalmology with optometrist, Dr. Steve DeGroff, at Family Eye Care and St. Vincent Randolph Hospital in Winchester and at Community Eye Care in Indianapolis.
